Selecting Viscosity for Diff Tuning

The range spans from very thin oils for delicate damping to extra thick fluids like the 1,000,000 cSt for differential locking and improved traction. Use thinner fluids in shocks and reserve super thick oils for gear diffs where reduced internal slip is desired.

No - 1,000,000 cSt is far too thick for shocks. Use much lower cSt shock oil designed for dampers to avoid poor performance.
Viscosity grades are colour coded on the caps and labels so you can spot the right cSt at a glance. Always check the cSt number before use.
Mixing oils of very different viscosities can give unpredictable diff feel. For consistent behaviour, either use a single viscosity or blend small amounts and test progressively.
