Honda's celebrated competition bike, the RC166, originated to win the entire world course Race Championship in 1966. The bike showcased a 250cc 4-stroke 6-cylinder DOHC 4-valve engine which thumped away an extraordinary 60ps/18,000rpm. Mike Hailwood rode the RC166 and won every 250cc course competition he joined to provide Honda their initial Rider and Manufacturer's Championships, which contributed toward company's amazing feat of having the manufacturers' title in many five classes from 50cc to 500cc.
