Refine Your RC Shell with Tamiya 89911 PS Anodized Green

The Tamiya 89911 PS Anodized Green Spray comes in a 100ml aerosol and is made for painting polycarbonate RC car shells. It is intended to produce a clean anodized green interior finish that stands up to regular running and handling.

Made for Polycarbonate Lexan Bodies

Formulated specifically for transparent polycarbonate, this spray bonds to the inner surface of an RC body. Hold the can about 30cm from the shell and apply thin, even passes to the inside. Let the first coat dry fully before applying a second coat to avoid runs and to get an even sheen.

Resistance to Oils and Fuels

This formulation shows good resistance to oils and fuels commonly encountered with gas or nitro models, helping the paint stay intact during typical use. For best longevity, allow full cure time before exposing the body to heavy fuel contact.

Can I use this on plastic trims or bumpers?

This spray is developed for polycarbonate (lexan) shells and may not adhere well to other plastics or trims. Test on a scrap piece first if unsure.

How many coats should I apply for a solid colour?

Apply two light coats for even coverage, allowing the first coat to dry before spraying the second. Multiple thin layers give a smoother finish than one heavy coat.
