The Intruder A-6A originated because the first all-weather carrier-based fighter of U.S. NAVY. First implemented in 1963, it ended up used by genuine functional units from as soon as 1965. Production making use of this very very early model reached near to 500 aircraft, with the very very early model popular through the entire Vietnam War for night assault operations.
