Workshop upkeep for your Tamiya airbrush

Keep your Tamiya Spray-Work airbrush performing reliably with the Tamiya 74548 Spray Work Air Brush Cleaning Set. The kit supplies the basic tools needed to clear nozzles and tidy paint cups, helping prevent clogs and maintain a steady spray pattern during hobby painting sessions.

Two precision brushes included

The set contains two purpose-made brushes for different cleaning tasks. An extra-fine brush with PBT bristles on a stainless steel wire stem reaches tight passages such as the nozzle. A standard brush with a grip-friendly stainless steel stem handles paint cup cleaning efficiently. Both brushes are built for regular maintenance without fraying quickly.

Sealant and grease for routine care

Alongside the brushes you get a 3 g sealant and a 7 g high-viscosity grease. The sealant is intended to stop small air leaks around the nozzle base and stays in a non-solidified state so it can be wiped and reapplied. The 7 g grease is used on the trigger button stem to keep movement smooth and predictable.

Safe nozzle removal tool

The kit also includes a nozzle wrench compatible with Tamiya Spray-Work airbrushes. This tool lets you remove the nozzle without marring parts, making disassembly and cleaning straightforward.

The kit is designed around the Tamiya Spray-Work series. Some tools may fit other makes, but compatibility is not guaranteed so check nozzle dimensions before using on a different brand.
Regular care is best - clean your airbrush after each painting session to avoid dried paint inside the nozzle and cup. Use the extra-fine brush for nozzle passages and the standard brush for the cup.
Yes. The high-viscosity grease is intended for the trigger stem but can be cleaned off during a full service. Use appropriate solvent and reapply a small amount when reassembling.
