2006 saw the development of a "new guard" to MotoGP, as Dani Pedrosa and the young Australian Casey Stoner relocated up from 250cc system to challenge Valentino "health related conditions" Rossi because of their 990cc top. Besides making the relocate to MotoGP was Team LCR, led by racing veteran and Stoner's long-time employer in 250cc program, Lucio Ceccinello. LCR combined with Honda to field the effective RC211V '06 in its last duration ahead of the scale-down to 800cc devices. A lot of attention in 2006 have now been on Pedrosa and Hayden, Stoner invest good performance, plainly showing their chance for the long term.
